Support Our Shops

ExtraCare’s charity shops are based near our villages and housing schemes and provide a vital source of income for the charity. All shops profits are channelled directly into the provision of activities for ExtraCare residents.

ExtraCare shops are staffed by full-time managers and volunteers, collecting goods, preparing and pricing items for sale and selling goods to the public.

As well as raising valuable income for ExtraCare, getting involved with your local ExtraCare shop is a good way of meeting new people whilst making a real contribution to providing a better quality of life for older people in your area.

Donated goods (good quality clothes, books and bric a brac) are always welcome, so please remember ExtraCare if you are having a clear out.

ExtraCare shops are always on the look out for more donors and volunteers so if you are interested please call into your local shop.

If you have seen a job advertised in one of our charity shops, please take a read of the following competency documents. If you feel you have something to offer an ExtraCare shop then download the application form below.
