Nottingham Village Life Appeal
The ExtraCare Charitable Trust launched a major capital appeal headed by Her Grace the Duchess of Rutland in Nottingham in 2006 to raise £500k for The Lark Hill Village in Clifton, to date we have raised £298k of this. The appeal is to equip and furbish the Village Centre, making a positive difference to the lives of thousands of older people in Nottingham.

The Village will offer older people of Nottingham:
- A home of their own for life
- Care and support, tailored to their needs, available around the clock.
- All the social and leisure facilities they need on their door step.
- Highly trained staff and volunteer support fostering a can-do culture, supporting personal achievement and growth.
- Stimulating activities, social and leisure interests. Help and advice to stay fit and well, proactive health screening and well-being promotion.
